The parade line up is first-come, first-served. The line up starts on Cornwall Ave., south of Kearney St. Groups start lining up around 5:00 PM. Parade starts at 6:00 pm. |

If you plan on having a motorized vehicle in the parade, please fill out the large float entry form listed above. We encourage bands to join in the festivities.
Please note: no candy can be thrown to the crowd during the parade.
The excitement of the Ski to Sea Junior Parade will include many local schools as they march down Cornwall Ave. The young ones are not left out, as anyone 14 or under can be in the Junior Parade. Call the Bellingham Chamber at 734-1330 for infomation. |

The theme is: Transportation: Past, Present, & Future
Grand Marshal-Bob Diehl, owner of Diehl Ford, celebrating 100 years of service to Bellingham in 2008.
Transportation has played an important role in Whatcom County's history: from logging and fishing, to its future as a resilient waterfront community. Design your float/entry along the lines of a past, present, or future model of transportation, and how it connects with your service/activity/product. Create a float for your school or company and show your true colors. Grab the chance of a lifetime and be in the parade!

Ski to Sea Race

There are over 400 teams each year who participate in one of the oldest relay races in this country today. The 7 legs of the race include: Nordic Skiing, Alpine Skiing or Snowboards, Running, Road Bike, Canoe, Mountain Bike, and Kayak.
May 8, 2008 9:45 AM - REGISTRATION FOR THE RACE IS CLOSED. Any teams submitting an application after this date are on a waiting list.
Team Captains are the first to register so that a team name can be created. Once the Team Captain has registered, he/she should create a TEAM then add the racers to race application using the Online Registration system. Thank you.
